Why This Exists

Colorado Springs has world-class wildfire public infrastructure — free CSFD consultations, the neighborhood chipping program, published defensible-space guidance — and a chronic shortage of easy ways to hire the actual labor. The fire department itself counted 48,829 homeowner hours of mitigation work in a single season. Most of those hours belonged to people who would happily have paid a professional crew if finding a licensed, insured, available one were simple. Now it's one phone call.
